Skeenah Campground, Blue Ridge Mountains, Georgia

  Skeenah Campground is prized by the folks from Suches. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are pleasant places to discover along the Duncan Ridge Trail, and visiting Vogel State Park is a good thing to do.
This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Going for a hike on the Benton Mackaye Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and paddling on Etowah River is so much fun. If you come to this campground, you will have a great time for sure. It's a great idea to stop at Woody Branch, it's right next door to Skeenah
    Campground, and the DeSoto Falls Trail offers hiking at its best. For the period of the warm days of summer at Skeenah Campground highs are ordinarily in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter
at Skeenah Campground temperatures fall to the 20's.
Tooni Gap is a perfect spot to stop at near Skeenah Campground, and Tooni Mountain is easy to spot from Skeenah Campground. This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer. There's wonderful hiking along the Coosa Backcountry Trail, and a great place like Amicalola Falls and Lodge State Park is too brilliant to leave out. And if that's not enough there's plenty more amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. People from Suches love to come to Skeenah Campground; whitewater paddling is brilliant
 
on Cooper Creek.
So many amusing things near Skeenah Campground, and it is a good campground. Don't leave Skeenah Campground without first going for a hike along the Black Mountain Trail, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Toccoa River.
There's a load of outdoors recreation available close by such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so running out of fun things to do won’t happen.
Loads of folks select Skeenah Campground to be in close proximity to Amicalola Falls and Lodge State Park. The good local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. Georgia has so many things to offer nature lovers.
A large amount of precipitation falls at Skeenah Campground; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Skeenah Campground is one of the spots to camp here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
