Going to High Falls State Park right next door to Church Campground is a great thing to do; get drenched paddling on Big Sandy Creek. This campground is a good site to stop by. Float down the rapids of Little Towaliga River in a kayak; do take a hike on the Kinnard Horse Trail. High temperatures at Church Campground through the months of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down     it sinks down to the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Church Campground are in the 30's. This location is excellent, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do close to Church Campground. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Ocmulgee River Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Towaliga River offers some nice whitewater. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Church Campground; Allison Lake Wildlife Trail is a great local trail, and naturally, all our national parks are great spots to stop by and Ocmulgee National Monument is no exception. Coming to this campground is always a good idea. At Church Campground you always meet someone from Juliette; Toms Shoals is positively a fine location to take a look at. A spree to Indian Springs State Park when you're   here at Church Campground is a delightful idea; why not take a little tour to Deer Creek while you're here.
