West Thompson Campground, Connecticut

  There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Clear and Branch; obviously, this is a fine region for people who like lakes, Carpenter Pond is a lake in close proximity. So many local attractions and such a large number of things to do will certainly have you coming back time and again. Quite a lot of exciting stuff to do next to West Thompson Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is splendid.
So many exciting things to do at West Thompson Campground, so little time. A spree to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage
    Corridor is worthwhile; Mashamoquet Brook State Park is a tremendous spot to pop by on a pretty day.
There's whitewater on Natchaug River for all you adrenaline people; a tour to Quaddick State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. West Thompson Campground is a popular
spot with the people of North Grosvenordale. All our national parks are delightful places to stop by, and Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is no exception; West Thompson Campground is right by the Munyan Trail.
This campground is so nice. Hiking along the Walkabout Trail is great fun, and an afternoon playing golf at Harrisville Golf Course is always a diversion. The view of Depot Hill from West Thompson Campground is beautiful; you'll meet a lot of folks from North Grosvenordale here. A campground like this is too nice to miss.
 
If you come at the right time of year, Quinebaug River offers some fine whitewater, and going for a hike along the Ross Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
There's such a large number of things to do at West Thompson Campground including swimming, playing golf, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. This site rocks, just look at all the entertaining things to do in the vicinity of West Thompson Campground. French River is a great spot to stop by; the skiing at Pine Ridge is splendid. At West Thompson Dam close to West Thompson Campground there are some exciting things to see; why not take a refreshing hike along the Border Trail.
Loads of people stay at this campground throughout their visit to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor. During the summer, highs mostly are in the 80's at West Thompson Campground. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at West Thompson Campground plunge into the 10's.
A great deal of rainfall falls at West Thompson Campground; during November this area sees the most rain while February is regularly the driest month.
Connecticut has so many things to offer nature lovers. Camping out unquestionably is an entertaining thing to do, and West Thompson Campground, Connecticut is a splendid place for getting out.
