Black Pond Campground, Connecticut

  This campground is always a delight. Natchaug River is a good whitewater spot near Black Pond Campground, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Royal Oaks Country Club is in the neighborhood. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Black Pond Campground, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Black Pond Campground are in the 10's.     will beyond doubt have you coming back again and again.
In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Quinebaug River. Lakes are nice; Dickinson Pond is a lake that's close to Black Pond Campground. Ok, it's time you went on a camping trip,

paddling is delightful on Quaboag River.
Black Pond Campground is a top choice with the residents of Woodstock Valley. Good hiking is available along the Border Trail, and Mashamoquet Brook State Park is a great spot to stop at. If you haven’t been to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor, you must schedule some time for it while you're here, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Woodstock Valley for sure.
Any time is a wonderful time at Black Pond Campground if you adore the outdoors. Swamps can be such out of the ordinary places, check out Great Cedar Swamp since you're here at Black Pond Campground; while here here do take a look at close by Woodstock Town Beach. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Black Pond Campground; Munyan Trail is a glorious local trail, and locations like Bigelow Hollow State Park are wonderful to pop by.
Connecticut is a fine place for outdoors people. Do check out Chamberlain Pond Dam while you're here at Black Pond Campground, and Morse Hill is charming and can be observed from here.
As if Black Pond Campground wasn't enough, you can also go swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and playing golf, so there's no way to get bored.
