Yeoman Park Campground, Sawatch Range, Colorado   Several folks camp here for the purpose of being near Sylvan State Park. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Sawatch Range will keep you coming back over and over. Nearby lakes? Sure, Polar Star Lake is close to Yeoman Park Campground, and hiking along the Salt Creek Trail is great fun. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast number of things to offer. You absolutely ought to explore Sylvan State Park since you're here at Yeoman Park Campground; if you come at the right time of year, Eagle River offers some glorious whitewater.
