Whitewater paddling is great on Blue River, and do take a hike on the Lost Lake Trail. All year is a fine time in the Park Range if you love the outdoors. Willows Campground is near Arapaho National Forest which is a wonderful spot. Lakes? Sure, Lower Cataract Lake is in close proximity. The great selection of local attractions, and such an incredible array of things to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back again and again. This is such a perfect campground. Paddling on Colorado River is so much fun, and hiking along the Sheep Drive Trail is pleasant fun. There's delightful hiking along the Eaglesmere Trail, and the vista of Green Mountain is striking. August, and February on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Willows Campground mostly tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Willows Campground are in the-10's.
Some activities here at Willows Campground are hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so in all probability you want to stay for a while. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Gore Range Trail. This is such a pretty campground. You don’t have to go far from
