Man, is there plenty of fun things to do in the Sawatch Range. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ski Cooper, and you can go for a hike on the Main Range Trail. Bartlett Gulch is a brilliant place to look at, and the South Pine Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear Creek; there are some great whitewater spots on Lake Creek.
