| | The Sawatch Range scenery is always delightful. This part of Colorado is always a pleasure to go to during camping season. There are so many entertaining things to do close to White Star Campground; you always have a great time when you're here.
White Star Campground is liked by the folks of Twin Lakes.
Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Lake Creek, and naturally Flume Creek is a scenic stream that is worth going to. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Mount Elbert Forebay Dam close to |
White Star Campground, and soar down the rapids of Arkansas River in a kayak. Such a delightful choice of attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are pleasant reasons to come.
This campground is a great location to take a look at. There's brilliant hiking along the
| Mount Elbert Trail; everyone nearby loves skiing at Ski Cooper. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at White Star Campground.
There's no way someone can get bored here in the Sawatch Range. White Star Campground is right by the Pine Creek Trail, and a tour to White River National Forest is a great idea. Anxious to raise that tent; White Star Campground in Colorado is a really great place to spend some time.

possibly addicted to lakes, Cozart Reservoir is one of those nearby, and the Mount Massive Trail offers hiking at its best. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is abundant here in the Sawatch Range. Paddling on Clear Creek is so much fun, and good hiking is available along
the Main Range Trail. White Star Campground is pretty waterless mostly; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is generally the driest month.
If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so
getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. People from Twin Lakes love to come to White Star Campground; do take a hike on the South Pine Creek Trail. A wonderful spot in the neighborhood of White Star Campground is Bartlett Gulch, and a brilliant place like San Isabel
National Forest is too perfect to leave out.
The warmest time of the year at White Star Campground comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for White Star Campground.
