Tunnel Campground, Medicine Bow Mountains, Colorado Custom Search   This has been a favorite vacation/relaxation spot for my family for many years. The popularity has grown and the campground is very busy during the summer months on weekends. There is great stream and lake fishing nearby, plenty of trails for hiking and an evening drive to Long Draw Reservoir is guaranteed to provide sightings of elk and moose. Scores of people stay at Tunnel Campground when they come to stop by State Forest State Park. You have to get out; Tunnel Campground in Colorado is a really good location to spend some time. The delightful variety of local attractions and the delightful variety of outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back over and over. There's so much stuff to do at Tunnel Campground including hiking, whitewater       paddling, fishing, and swimming, so running out of cool things to do won’t happen. Tunnel Campground is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. In Colorado you never run out of outdoors enjoyable things. A category V, 2.4-mile-in-length   whitewater section can be found on close by Cache La Poudre River, the Big South Campground to Tunnel Picnic Ground portion. If you have a good deal of paddling experience, this section of Cache La Poudre River may be a good whitewater section for you. For your security you have to always check conditions ahead of going paddling.
