There's some flowing water close by, Skinny Fish Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here; do take a hike on the South Derby Trail. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Trapline Campground is Sweetwater Creek, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grizzly Creek.
