There's some flowing water close by, Skinny Fish Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here; do take a hike on the South Derby Trail. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Trapline Campground is Sweetwater Creek, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grizzly Creek.
Get your camping stuff packed and get your motor running; Trapline Campground in Colorado is the outdoors at its finest. A visit to Amphitheatre
    invigorates the soul; stopping by Yampa River Legacy State Park is a great thing to do.
It is very dried up here at Trapline Campground regularly; the month with most of the rain is October, and January on the other hand is the driest. Hiking along the High Trail is perfect
fun, and you can run the rapids of White River - North Fork.
It's out of the question to run out of exciting stuff to do right next door to Trapline Campground; if you're trying to locate a perfect place to go for a camping trip, this is a brilliant choice. There's so many things to do at Trapline Campground including whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
