If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Front Range. A journey to Roxborough State Park rejuvenates the spirit, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Payne Creek Trail. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available in close proximity such as hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. This is such a glorious campground. Take a little journey to
Tramway Creek if you're here at Tramway Campground, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Hankins Trail. Pike National Forest is a good place to go to, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Lake Park Trail.

in close proximity and the great variety of outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend South Platte River, and the peak of Baldy Peak can be spotted from Tramway Campground.
