Trailhead Campground, Front Range, Colorado

  Quite a lot of cool stuff to do next to Trailhead Campground, and it certainly is a great campground. whitewater, and don't leave without popping by Golden Gate Canyon State Park.
This spot, the Front Range, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Why not have a look at Monarch Lake Dam since you're here, and Strawberry Bench is something you shouldn't miss while you're here. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Front Range. Get dripping wet paddling on Fraser River, and this is a popular spot for folks from Grand Lake.
You get a wonderful sight of Mount Adams from Trailhead Campground; one of the best things about this location is its proximity
 
to Surprise Beach. Such a good choice of attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back many times. For the duration of the long summer days here at Trailhead Campground, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Trailhead Campground overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's.
This section of Colorado is always a pleasure to visit all through camping season. This campground is so great. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Trailhead Campground; Gourd Lake Trail is a fine local trail; don't miss out on a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park since you're here.

Just getting warmed up. Don't forget to stop by Arapaho Bay while you're here at Trailhead Campground, and there's great hiking along the Strawberry Trail.
Trailhead Campground is a campground pretty often visited by people of Grand Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder Creek, and unsurprisingly, this is a great neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Watanga Lake is a lake nearby.
