This is a magnificent campground. The Timber Creek Trail offers hiking at its best; the skiing at SolVista Basin is brilliant. Don't leave Timber Creek Campground without visiting Roosevelt National Forest, and dropping by Rocky Mountain National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. you could stop at; get yourself into a kayak and hit Cache La Poudre River. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back over and over. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be.
| Good hiking is available along the Onahu Creek Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Joe Wright Creek offers some magnificent whitewater, and a great site nearby is Red Gulch. Timber Creek Campground is liked by folks from Grand Lake. Hells Hip Pocket is a great location to stretch your legs a bit, and lots of folks from Grand Lake come here. Colorado is a tremendous place for campers. Got cabin fever from too much time inside, Don't be troubled; Timber Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground if you happen to be in Colorado. | |

Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do next to Timber Creek Campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Timber Creek Campground; La Poudre Pass Trail is a brilliant local trail, and do take a look at Timber Creek since you're here at Timber Creek Campground. Going for
a hike on the Red Mountain Trail is always a pleasant adventure; a good site like State Forest State Park is too delightful to leave out. Go for a hike on the Timber Lake Trail, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Willow Creek. Summertime highs at Timber Creek Campground
