Three Forks Campground, Colorado   Don't leave Three Forks Campground without first going for a hike along the Fayville Trail. So many local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back over and over. Good hiking is available along the Hay Flat Trail, and since you're here, you could pop by Three Forks Creek. There's wonderful hiking along the Bailey Lake Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater     of Colorado River. Several people camp here to be near Rifle Falls State Park. Harvey Gap State Park is a great location to go if you're at Three Forks Campground, and Coulter Dam is not far at all from Three Forks Campground. Coming to this campground is always a delightful idea. The skiing at Sunlight Mountain is tremendous, and Three Forks Campground is right next door to Little Box Canyon which is beyond doubt worth a visit. With such a vast number of things to do in Colorado you'll never get bored. There's such a great deal of things to do at Three Forks Campground including whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. This campground is a delightful spot to check out. A tour to Rifle Falls State Park revives the soul, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then,   we recommend White River - North Fork. Feeling down from spending too much time indoors, Don't worry; Three Forks Campground is a splendid local campground if you happen to be in Colorado. If you come at the right time of year, White River - South Fork offers some glorious whitewater, and there are delightful sites to discover along the Last Chance Trail. Man, is there a heap of exciting stuff to do right next door to Three Forks Campground. Going for a hike on the Mansfield Ditch Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and while you're here at Three Forks Campground it's a wonderful idea to have a look at Long Park. At Three Forks Campground you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is October, and the driest of the months is February. During the days of summer at Three Forks Campground temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Three Forks Campground temperatures fall to the 0's.
