Colorado River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Old Ute Indian Trail. There's more to do near The Falls Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's out of the question to get bored.

This is a good campground. Highline State Park is a fine spot to stretch your legs a bit, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Pollock Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has to offer. You need to pop
by Miracle Rock since you're here at The Falls Campground, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Grand Junction. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 90's at The Falls Campground. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in
the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's; nighttime lows at The Falls Campground through the winter regularly dip into the 0's.
