While you're here at The Crags Campground you can take a hike along the Rule Ridge Trail; if you come at the right time of year, South Platte River offers some great whitewater. The Crags Campground is a campground that is fantastically prized by folks in Divide. Many folks
stay here when going to Mueller State Park. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to The Crags Campground. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at The Crags Campground are in the 0's. Not much rain falls here at The Crags Campground; July is when you get the most rain here while January is usually the driest month.
