Taylor Canyon Campground, Colorado   There's more to do right next door to Taylor Canyon Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's completely out of the question to get bored. The Matchless Trail is a tremendous hiking trail in the neighborhood of Taylor Canyon Campground, and do go to Onemile Creek since you're here at Taylor Canyon Campground. If you come to this campground, you will have a great time for sure. Lots of folks from Almont come to Taylor Canyon Campground, and whitewater paddling     is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Gunnison River. So much exciting stuff close to Taylor Canyon Campground, and it is a fine escape from the city. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area right next door to Taylor Canyon Campground has to offer. Have a good hiking adventure along the Granite Basin Trail, and there's whitewater on East River for all you adrenaline people. Taylor Canyon Campground gets very little precipitation; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and June is when it's the driest. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Taylor Canyon Campground, high temperatures usually get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 30's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down   through the wintertime temperatures at Taylor Canyon Campground fall into the-10's. Hiking along the Onemile Cattle Trail is wonderful fun, and Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is one of the destinations that are nice to explore close by. Don't miss out on a spree to Curecanti National Recreation Area since you're here at Taylor Canyon Campground, and a spree to San Isabel National Forest is a fine idea. While you're here at Taylor Canyon Campground you can take a hike along the Fossil Ridge Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Irwin Lodge. Taylor Canyon Campground is a very popular campground with residents of Almont. On a perfect day at Taylor Canyon Campground you can take a hike along the Summerville Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Taylor River offers some wonderful whitewater.
