This campground is so great. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Beef Pasture Point is clearly visible from T Bone Spring Campground, and no need to travel far to explore interesting stuff like Windy Point.
| Summertime highs at T Bone Spring Campground typically tend to be in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 40's with temperatures at T Bone Spring Campground dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. If you are in Colorado through camping season, you have to go camping. Get wet paddling on San Miguel River, and you can go for a hike on the Campbell Creek Trail. right there is heaps of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains has it all. Whitewater paddling is nice on Escalante Creek; don't leave T Bone Spring Campground without first going for a hike along the Spring Creek Trail. This camp ground is situated
in the beautiful Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This is a great campground. The Bench Trail offers hiking at its best, and Uncompahgre National Forest is a wonderful place. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at T Bone Spring Campground.
There's great hiking along the Fortyseven Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Montrose here at T Bone Spring Campground. T Bone Spring Campground is pretty dried out ordinarily; August is the wettest month with most rain while June is commonly the driest month.
