If you like the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's whitewater paddling, swimming, fishing, hiking, and playing golf, so it's impossible to get bored. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Near Sunshine Campground you stumble on the Deep Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail, |

and some close by water includes Gold Creek. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Turkey Creek Mesa is clearly visible from Sunshine Campground, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Sheep Trail. If you adore the outdoors, you'll fancy Sunshine
| Campground.
As long as you go for the outdoors you will go for Colorado. This is a glorious campground. Not far from Sunshine Campground you obtain some good water scenery at Cushman Dam, and during your visit here you'll meet some folks from Ophir for sure. Such a good choice of attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back repeatedly.

Sunshine Campground is exceptionally popular with visitors from Ophir. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is bountiful here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Golf can be played
at Telluride Ski & Golf Club, and the Lizard Head Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby.
This camp ground is one of the delightful locations to camp here in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. At Sunshine Campground you don’t see much rainfall; July is the wettest month
with most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Time to get out and breathe some fresh air, you've gotta get out; Sunshine Campground in Colorado is a good spot to go. It's just not possible to run out of exciting stuff to do right next door to
Sunshine Campground; it is a good campground. A campground like this is too glorious to miss. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Lime Creek, and beautiful scenery and delightful skiing is what you obtain at Telluride.
Glide down the rapids of San Miguel River in a
kayak, and Ridgway State Park is both great and pretty. If you come at the right time of year, Mineral Creek - South offers some good whitewater; not far from Sunshine Campground you'll locate Cushman Lake which is a beautiful lake.
Going for a hike on the East Fork Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and there are great locations to explore along the Wilson Mesa Trail.
