There is a good hiking trail near Sugarloaf Campground called the Byers Peak Trail, and of course, this is a tremendous region for folks who like lakes, Horseshoe Lake is a lake nearby. All through the months of summer at Sugarloaf Campground temperatures are commonly in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The great local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will unquestionably have you coming back repeatedly. Be careful coming to the Park Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. The Kinney Creek Trail is a fine hiking trail near Sugarloaf Campground, and if you
come at the right time of year, Williams Fork offers some splendid whitewater. This is such a wonderful campground. If the weather is good here at Sugarloaf Campground, you can go for a hike along the Keyser Divide Trail; there are some glorious whitewater spots on Blue River.
Sugarloaf Campground is a top choice campground with the people from Dillon. Not much rainfall falls here at Sugarloaf Campground; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is the month with the least moisture. That right there is a lot of entertaining stuff already
but it goes on, the Park Range has it all. Going for a hike along the Ute Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and on a beautiful day you get a pleasant vista of Sugarloaf from Sugarloaf Campground. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Loveland; there's some flowing water nearby, Darling Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here.
