| | Going camping for a couple of days here in Colorado is something you should do. This campground is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Lake Fork Gunnison River in a kayak, and San Juan National Forest is a splendid place to go. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Meadow Reservoir; there's delightful hiking along the Bondholder Trail. Some activities here at Spring Creek Campground are swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so most likely you want to stay a bit. at all the entertaining stuff to do near Spring Creek Campground. Get dripping wet paddling on Rio Grande, and going for a hike on the Rough Creek Trail is always a fine adventure. Spring Creek Campground is pretty arid mostly; most of the rain falls during August, and February
