Near Slumgullion Pass Campground you come across the Cebolla Trail which is a good hiking trail. At Slumgullion Pass Campground during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Slumgullion Pass Campground temperatures descend to the-10's.
