For the period of the warm days of summer at Sleping Elephant Campground temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and the night is a tad chillier of course, generally in the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Sleping Elephant Campground are in the 0's. and the view of Sleeping Elephant Mountain is beautiful. There are so many fun things in the neighborhood of Sleping Elephant Campground, and when you have spent some time here you will feel like a whole new person. A campground like this is too brilliant to miss. Paddling
on Cache La Poudre River is so much fun, and Sleping Elephant Campground is right by the Zimmerman Trail. And that's not all you can do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Joe Wright Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby; you can have a good hiking adventure along the
Green Ridge Trail. Lots of folks opt for this campground so they can go to Roosevelt National Forest. It's not possible to get bored in Colorado if you adore the outdoors. This is a brilliant campground. Sheep Creek is a fine place to pop by, and Williams Gulch is another good location to stop by nearby.
