This camp ground is situated in the delightful Medicine Bow Mountains. Summertime highs at Skyline Campground ordinarily tend to be in the 70's with overnight lows in the 30's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Skyline Campground are in the 0's. at Skyline Campground you can take a hike along the West Branch Trail, and State Forest State Park is worth a visit. And if that's not enough there's lots more fun stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Larimie Lake Dam is picturesque and it's near Skyline Campground; Joe Wright
Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Skyline Campground has it all. The Green Ridge Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close to Skyline Campground; whitewater paddling is delightful on Cache La Poudre River.
Loads of fun is at this campground. Go for a hike on the North Fork Trail, and don't leave without visiting Roosevelt National Forest. This campground is a nice location to go to. There is a fine hiking trail near Skyline Campground called the Blue Lake Trail, and going for a
hike on the Camp Lake Trail is always a good adventure. It's just not possible to run out of enjoyable things to do near Skyline Campground; loads of folks love to come here to get away.
