  If time allows, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park worth taking a look at; going for a hike along the Camp Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This campground is always a diversion. Take a hike on the Green Ridge Trail, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Cache La Poudre River.

so almost certainly you want to stick around. This is such a fun place for a campground. Larimie Lake Dam is pretty and it's in the neighborhood of Skyline Campground, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the North Fork Trail. Skyline Campground gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January.
So many local attractions and the great variety of outdoors recreation will unquestionably have you coming back over and over. All year is a brilliant
 
time in the Medicine Bow Mountains if you like the outdoors. Two and One Half Creek is a wonderful local stream, and get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Cache La Poudre River. Skyline Campground is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains.
High temperatures at Skyline Campground through the summer months are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 30's. Through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Skyline Campground dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Spending too much time inside got you down, No need to worry; Skyline Campground in Colorado is exactly the place.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Skyline Campground is right by the West Branch Trail, and State Forest State Park is a good spot to stretch your legs a bit.
Loads of people stay here in order to be near State Forest State Park. Have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Blue Lake Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Twin Lakes.
