Skyline Campground, Medicine Bow Mountains, Colorado

  As long as you like the outdoors you will like Colorado. Going for a hike on the North Fork Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and if you come at the right time of year, Joe Wright Creek offers some good whitewater.
This is such a fun location for a campground. Roosevelt National Forest is a great site to stop by on a delightful day; get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Cache La Poudre River. Larimie Lake Dam is a location that is in the neighborhood of Skyline Campground, and hey, Two and One Half Creek is a great local stream.
    When was the last occasion you went camping for a couple of days? Skyline Campground, Colorado is a great location for getting out. This campground is a charming location to stop by. On a fine day at Skyline Campground you can take a hike along the Blue Lake Trail, and if you have
time to spare, Rocky Mountain National Park is a national park worth a visit.
So much amusing stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains, just inspiring. While you're here at Skyline Campground you can take a hike along the Green Ridge Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Cache La Poudre River.

A journey to State Forest State Park when you're here at Skyline Campground is never a bad idea; there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Camp Lake Trail. So many local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are pleasant reasons to come.
So much entertaining stuff in close proximity to Skyline Campground, and scores of people love to come here to escape. Summer at Skyline Campground comes with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Skyline Campground during the winter usually sink into the 0's. Scores of folks stay at Skyline Campground through their spree to State Forest State Park.
Around Skyline Campground you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Skyline Campground is situated in the Medicine Bow Mountains.
