There are some good whitewater spots on Tenmile Creek, and Boreas Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Selkirk Campground. Lots of people from Breckenridge come to Selkirk Campground, and naturally Silverheels Creek flows through this region. This campground has so many entertaining things to offer. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Breckenridge is close to Selkirk Campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around |
Selkirk Campground; Old Boreas Wagon Road is a good local trail. At Selkirk Campground you don’t see much rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here, and January is when it's the driest. Selkirk Campground is near Arapaho National Forest which is a stunning place; you
| can run the rapids of Arkansas River. A nice place to visit next to Selkirk Campground is Selkirk Gulch, and do take a hike on the Miners Creek Trail.
