| | Second Creek Campground is a campground that is exceptionally prized by the people from Empire. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Clear Creek, and a pleasant site close by is Berthoud Pass. At Second Creek Campground you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. The wonderful people of Empire like to hang out close by; do have a look at Blue Lake, it's a lovely lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. If the weather is great here |
