at Roaring Fork Campground. Loads of folks choose this campground for the purpose of being in close proximity to Surprise Beach. Visiting Rocky Mountain National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and visiting Golden Gate Canyon State Park is a nice thing
to do. Good hiking is available along the Caribou Trail; SolVista is a very popular ski area close at hand. The pleasant variety of local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. This campground is so glorious. There are good spots to
look at along the Strawberry Trail, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Grand Lake. There's so much to do at Roaring Fork Campground including fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
There's just no way someone can get bored here at Roaring Fork Campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Willow Creek, and a wonderful place like Arapaho National Forest is too great to leave out. A campground like this is too glorious to miss. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Fraser River; why not a little side tour to Roaring Fork Arapaho Creek.
