River Hill Campground, San Juan Mountains, Colorado   This is such a good campground. Getting to Little Squaw Creek from River Hill Campground is simple, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Rio Grande Reservoir. Some of the things you can do here at River Hill Campground are hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so it's impossible to get bored. As long as you adore the outdoors you will adore Colorado. The warmest time of the year at River Hill Campground comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 40's.     For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at River Hill Campground throughout the wintertime ordinarily descend into the-10's. Going for a hike on the Middle Creek Stock Driveway is always a great adventure, and a tremendous location like Long Park here at River Hill Campground is too nice to miss. River Hill Campground gets very little precipitation; the month of August is   the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. So many fun things in the San Juan Mountains, just inspiring. Everybody loves San Juan National Forest, and whitewater paddling is good on Rio Grande. At Regan Dam in the neighborhood of River Hill Campground there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and Sawmill Canyon is a pleasant spot to explore. This camp ground is one of the tremendous spots to camp here in the San Juan Mountains. The Fern Creek Stock Driveway is a wonderful hiking trail close to River Hill Campground, and you can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Kendall Mountain. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of River Hill Campground. Don't leave River Hill Campground without first going for a hike along the Cebolla Trail; get drenched paddling on Henson Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the San Juan Mountains. At River Hill Campground you can catch a sight of River Hill, and nearby you stumble on the Long Ridge Stock Driveway which is a wonderful hiking trail.
