| | This is such a fun place for a campground. Places like State Forest State Park are magnificent to pop by, and SolVista has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Paddling on Cache La Poudre River is so much fun, and going for a hike along the Parika Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Through the days of summer at Ranger Lakes Campground temperatures are regularly in the 70's; the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, generally in the 30's. The cold days of the winter |

| National Forest is a great site, and hiking along the Michigan River Trail is perfect fun. A lake nearby is North Michigan Creek Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Joe Wright Creek. You can make out Gould Mountain from Ranger Lakes Campground, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Montgomery Pass Trail.
