| | Summer at Promontory Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 0's for Promontory Campground. On a great day at Promontory Campground you can take a hike along the Stanley Canyon Trail, and a spree to Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is worthwhile.

Mueller State Park is both magnificent and scenic, and it's close to Promontory Campground, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to Nichols Dam. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. There is a good hiking trail close to Promontory Campground called the Waldo Canyon Trail; you're sure to encounter some smiling people from Cascade here.

paddling, so it's impossible to get bored. This campground is so good. While you're here at Promontory Campground you can take a hike along the Schubarth Trail, and since you're here why not stop by Wildcat Gulch. This camp ground is one of the splendid locations to camp here in
the Front Range.
Promontory Campground is loved by the people in Cascade. This is such a good campground. Going for a hike on the Balanced Rock Trail is always a glorious adventure, and close by you locate the Indian Trail which is a great hiking trail.
You just can't imagine
the amount of outdoors fun things the area near Promontory Campground has to offer. Shining Mountain Golf Club is a golf course in close proximity to Promontory Campground, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on South Platte River. You shouldn't be inside all the time;
you've gotta get out every now and then, and Promontory Campground in Colorado is a delightful selection. Such a tremendous pick of attractions and the tremendous variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back many times.
