Several people stay at this campground to be in the vicinity of Arapaho National Forest. There is a delightful hiking trail next to Prairie Point Campground called the Williams Peak Trail, and a day on the slopes of Vail is just what you need. You assume that's enough? | the wintertime regularly sink into the-10's. The Park Range scenery is always stunning. This campground is a stunning place to stop at. Paddling on Williams Fork is so much fun, and if you get bored of Prairie Point Campground you could also go to nearby Black Creek Reservoir. This is such a fun place for a campground. wasn't sufficient, you can also go whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, and hiking, so perhaps you want to stay a bit. All the tremendous local attractions close by and such a great deal of things to do are certain to keep you coming back again and again. You'll really wish
for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Park Range. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Gore Range Trail, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blue River. Around Prairie Point Campground you don’t get a
lot of rain; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Park Range. While you're here at Prairie Point Campground you can take a hike along the Lost Lake Trail; Shane Gulch is also a tremendous spot to look at.
