Going for a hike along the South Manitou Park Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; there's whitewater on South Platte River for all you thrill seekers. The Missouri Gulch Trail is a glorious hiking trail near Platte River Campground, and why not take a little spree to South Platte River if you're here. Going camping here in Colorado is something you ought to do. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Platte River Campground. Hatch Gulch is a good spot to spend some time at, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Long Hollow Trail. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Front Range is great! A lake close by is Cheesman Lake; when you're here it's always fun to take a look at Roxborough State Park.
