| | This campground is so wonderful. State Forest State Park is a wonderful spot, and do take a hike on the Parika Trail. Colorado is a wonderful spot for campers. Ok, you've been cooped up too long; Pines Campground in Colorado is exactly the spot. A campground like this is too wonderful to miss. A visit to Roosevelt National Forest invigorates the soul. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Pines Campground. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Joe Wright Creek; why not take a refreshing hike along the Michigan |
River Trail. In the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River; you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Illinois River Trail. Through the warm months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Pines Campground,
| and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Pines Campground plunge into the 0's. Going for a hike along the Bill Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and paddling on Willow Creek is so much fun. Trail offers hiking at its best. Lily Lake is a magnificent lake near Pines Campground; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby SolVista. All the wonderful local attractions close at hand and so much to do will make you happy you came.
