| | You completely have to like the San Juan Mountains. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Silverton, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Devil Mountain Trail. Loads of folks stay here in order to be close to San Juan National Forest.

Through the days of summer at Pine River Campground highs are usually in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Pine River Campground tend to be
in the 0's. Man, is there a load of cool stuff to do in the San Juan Mountains. It's a tremendous idea to take a look at Indian Creek, it's near Pine River Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Pine-Piedra Stock Driveway.
