You positively must take a look at Eldorado State Park since you're here at Pawnee Campground, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Ward here. Pawnee Campground is a very popular campground among folks in Ward. This campground is so pleasant. The CMC South Trail offers hiking at its best, and do visit Left Hand Reservoir, it's a wonderful lake.
