Park Creek Campground, San Juan Mountains, Colorado

  If you like the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Juan Mountains. Going for a hike along the Treasure Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and there are some good whitewater spots on Wolf Creek. Park Creek Campground gets lots of water; through March this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is June.
So many local attractions and
    all the outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back again and again. Hiking along the Silver Creek Trail is magnificent fun; some of the water close by flows, like Park Creek.
Colorado is a nice spot for campers. You truly should like Park Creek Campground. There's
no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Wolf Creek, also Metroz Park Lower Dam is worth going to if you're here.
All the outdoors fun stuff in the San Juan Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lake Fork National Recreation Trail, and you'll find a delightful lake called Beaver Creek Reservoir. Pack your camping stuff and leave the city behind; Park Creek Campground, Colorado is a nice spot for getting out. This camp ground is one of the perfect places to camp here in the San Juan Mountains.

a delightful day you obtain a panorama of Grouse Mountain from Park Creek Campground; Park Creek Campground is right by the Hot Creek Stock Driveway.
This campground has so much exciting stuff to offer. Don’t forget to have a look at Goodrich Park since you're here at Park Creek Campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Rio Grande offers some good whitewater. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend San Juan River - East Fork. If you come to this campground, you will have a delightful time for sure. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Highline Trail, and you're sure to come across some smiling people from South Fork here.
Throughout the summer at Park Creek Campground highs are regularly in the 60's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Park Creek Campground tend to be in the 0's. There are so many entertaining things in close proximity to Park Creek Campground, and if you're searching for a nice spot to go for a camping trip, this is a brilliant selection.
