down the rapids of Arkansas River in a kayak, and there are splendid sites to look at along the Tanner Trail.

out of things to do. Oak Creek Campground is typically a rather dried out location; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Oak Creek Campground is a very popular campground with folks in Rockvale.
