variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. In Colorado you never run out of outdoors entertaining stuff. There's such a vast number of things to do right next door to North Canyon Campground; when you're here you're always having a great time. There's magnificent
hiking along the Devil Mountain Trail, and North Canyon is another fine location to explore nearby. This campground is so good. Vallecito Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and good hiking is available along the Pine-Piedra Stock Driveway. There's no way
someone can get bored here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Paddling on Piedra River is so much fun, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Purgatory if you're here. There's so many things to do at North Canyon Campground including swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
