There's whitewater on Gunnison River for all you thrill seekers, and skiing at Irwin Lodge is one of those things you just should do. The Onemile Cattle Trail offers hiking at its best.
All the fine local attractions in the neighborhood and such a fine variety of outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back again and again. There's such a vast number of things to do in the vicinity
    of North Bank Campground, and you always have a great time when you're here.
Going for a hike along the Matchless Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Browns Gulch is a brilliant place to visit. The warmest time of the year at North Bank Campground
arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at North Bank Campground dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.
A campground like this is too great to miss. Take a little trip to Onemile Creek if you're here at North Bank Campground, and get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of East River.
San Isabel National Forest is a great spot to visit on a lovely day; hiking along the Fossil Ridge Trail
 
is good fun.
So much fun stuff in close proximity to North Bank Campground, clearly phenomenal. All our national parks are tremendous sites to pop by, and Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is no exception, and lots of people from Almont come here. Outdoors people generally adore this section of Colorado. This campground is so great. North Bank Campground is right by the Granite Basin Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Taylor River.
The views at Curecanti National Recreation Area will blow your mind, and do take a hike on the Summerville Trail. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the fun stuff you can do is hiking, and whitewater paddling, so there's no way to get bored. North Bank Campground is pretty waterless generally; the month with most of the snow is December; June meanwhile is the driest month.
