| | A wonderful spot for whitewater paddling close to Mogote Campground is Rio de los Pinos, and there are plenty of people from Antonito here. Just can't get enough of the San Juan Mountains. Mogote Campground is right by the La Manga Stock Driveway, and nearby you hit upon Massey Gulch which is a magnificent location to stop by.
Outdoors people generally fancy this section of Colorado. This campground has so incredibly much. Take a hike on the Conejos Stock Driveway, and a visit to Carson National Forest rejuvenates the soul.

30's with temperatures at Mogote Campground dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
This camp ground is one of the great places to camp here in the San Juan Mountains.
