If you come at the right time of year, Clear Creek - West Fork offers some fine whitewater, and Berthoud Pass is also a great spot to discover. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Clear Creek; Engelmann Peak is painless

Any time is a wonderful time at Mizpah Campground if you fancy the outdoors. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Woods Creek; Golden Gate Canyon State Park is a pleasant spot to stretch your legs a bit. So many local attractions and so many things to do will make you pleased you came.

There's nice hiking along the Sevenmile Ski Trail, and Lower Urad Reservoir is a wonderful lake close by. Quite a lot of exciting things to do in the neighborhood of Mizpah Campground; it is a fun spot for everyone.
Mizpah Campground is a location that is pretty dry
mostly; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Mizpah Campground during the warmest time of the year are in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are
regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Mizpah Campground.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Mizpah Campground. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mizpah Campground; Mary Jane Ski Trail is a tremendous local trail, and some of the water nearby flows, like Hoop Creek.
