Such a perfect selection of attractions and such a perfect variety of outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back many times. At Mitchell Creek Campground you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August while February is usually the driest month. What a place this is for outdoors folks. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Winter Park while you're here, and Eldorado State Park is a glorious |

local trail, and do pop by Long Lake, it's a picturesque lake. Go for a hike on the Niwot Cut-Off Trail. All year is a great time in the Front Range if you like the outdoors. Boulder Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; as expected, all our national parks are
perfect locations to stop by and Rocky Mountain National Park is no exception. Paddling on Boulder Creek - South is so much fun, and great hiking is available along the Brainard Lake Trail. This campground is so glorious. There's good hiking along the Niwot Ridge Trail, and
this is a popular spot for people from Ward. Pack your tent and sleeping bag and hit the road; Mitchell Creek Campground, Colorado is a wonderful spot for getting out.
