Be careful coming to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Places like Carter Park are wonderful to explore. Lakes? Sure, Palisade Lakes is nearby. This campground is so tremendous. A glorious place for whitewater paddling next to Middle Fork Hunter Campground is Rio Grande; the Fourmile Stock Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby.

there is lots of exciting things already but it goes on, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has it all. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Wolf Creek, and there are magnificent spots to look at along the Fourmile Stock Trail. This is a tremendous campground. From Middle Fork Hunter
Campground you acquire a great view of Rock Mountain; in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piedra River.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Lean Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth a visit, and
going for a hike on the Fern Creek Stock Driveway is always a fine adventure. Middle Fork Hunter Campground is to be found in a neighborhood with lots of entertaining things to do, and campgrounds like these are great.
If the weather is magnificent here at Middle Fork Hunter
Campground, you can go for a hike along the Martinez Creek Trail; close by The Notch is a great place to go. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 70's at Middle Fork Hunter Campground. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 30's. Daytime
highs through the winter are in the 20's, and night lows at Middle Fork Hunter Campground during the winter usually plunge into the-10's.
Among the things you can do right next door to Middle Fork Hunter Campground are fishing, swimming, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's totally impossible to get bored.
