Middle Fork Hunter Campground is right by the Fourmile Stock Trail; whitewater paddling is nice on Piedra River. High temperatures at Middle Fork Hunter Campground all through the warm days of summer are in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's while Middle Fork Hunter Campground nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the-10's.
