down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at McClure Campground temperatures fall to the-10's. This campground is always a joy. On a nice day at McClure Campground you can take a hike along the Hammond Trail, and
a visit to Paonia State Park when you're here is never a bad idea.
McClure Campground is a location that is rather dried out regularly; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest. This is such a fun location for a campground.
