| | You really shouldn't spend too much time in the city; you need to get out of the house once in a while; Mavreeso Campground is a splendid local campground if you happen to be in Colorado. Throughout the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Mavreeso Campground; the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mavreeso Campground. Not far from Mavreeso Campground, you'll stumble on Garbareno Reservoir which is a delightful |
lake, and get drenched paddling on Hermosa Creek. Camping in Colorado is such an enjoyable thing to do.
Near Mavreeso Campground you find the Eagle Peak Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater
| paddling on Dolores River. Coming to this campground is always a tremendous idea. Yucca House National Monument is a brilliant national park, and going for a hike on the Stoner Stock Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's totally impossible to get bored.

There are delightful spots to discover along the Stoner Mesa Trail, and whitewater paddling is splendid on San Miguel River. Mavreeso Campground gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's
the one that rains the most while June is commonly the driest month.
If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mavreeso Campground. Getting to Cottonwood Creek from Mavreeso Campground is easy; Mavreeso Campground is right next door to Mancos State
Park which is a scenic site. A number of people camp here to be close to Mancos State Park.
Go for a hike on the Spring Creek Trail. This campground is so pretty. At Mavreeso Campground you can catch a glimpse of Stoner Mesa, and delightful skiing awaits you at Hesperus Ski Center.
A journey to Mesa Verde National Park is worthwhile, and great hiking is available along the Lost Canyon Stock Driveway.
