by the Main Range Trail. Mary Queen Campground gets very little rain; most of the rain falls through August, and February on the other hand is the driest. A good spot for whitewater paddling close to Mary Queen Campground is Homestake Creek; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Main Range Trail.
