Rio Grande Reservoir to 12 miles above Creede sector of Rio Grande close by; this is a category III-IV whitewater stretch. This stretch of Rio Grande is suitable for raft paddlers who have been whitewater kayaking or rafting for some time but who are not yet ready for the truly risky rapids. You must check restrictions before you go; whitewater kayaking or rafting may become risky.
