Going for a weekend of camping here in Colorado is something you have to do. There is so much enjoyable stuff near Lost   Trail Campground, and it is a great escape from the city. When you go camping for a couple of days at a primitive campground such as this one you're beyond doubt camping. Unsurprisingly it may be tough to get to a primitive campground like this one, but it's worth the effort. Many people stay at Lost Trail Campground for the purpose of being close to San Juan National Forest. You've been indoors for too long, and Lost Trail Campground in Colorado is the       outdoors at its best. There's such an incredible array of things to do at Lost Trail Campground including swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so running out of amusing things to do won’t happen. You find the 8-mile-in-length   Rio Grande Reservoir to 12 miles above Creede sector of Rio Grande close by; this is a category III-IV whitewater stretch. This stretch of Rio Grande is suitable for raft paddlers who have been whitewater kayaking or rafting for some time but who are not yet ready for the truly risky rapids.
