  We all ought to go camping occasionally, and Lost Trail Campground, Colorado is a good location for getting out. This sector of Colorado is always a bliss to check out through camping season.

So many fun things to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too magnificent to be true. There are great spots to discover along the Ridge Stock Driveway, and wonderful hiking is available along the Whitehead Trail. Lost Trail Campground is positioned in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
This place rules, just look at all the cool stuff to do right next door to Lost Trail Campground. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Grande, and naturally Lost
 
Trail Creek flows through this vicinity. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Kendall Mountain is in close proximity to Lost Trail Campground; there's good hiking along the Long Ridge Stock Driveway.
There's a heap of outdoors recreation available close at hand such as hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so it's just not possible to get bored. Scores of people camp here when they come to go to San Juan National Forest.
At Lost Trail Campground through the warm months highs are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Lost Trail Campground all through the wintertime frequently dip into the 10's.; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June.
