Lost Park Campground, Front Range, Colorado

  All the tremendous local attractions in close proximity and the nearby outdoors recreation are glorious motives to come.
Lost Park Campground is pretty dehydrated generally; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is January. There's more to do close to Lost Park Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. This campground is so great. Here at Lost Park Campground you'll most likely meet some folks from Bailey, and Spinney State Park is worth checking out. At Lost Park Campground exciting stuff to do is abundant; to be here is delightful fun any time.
This is such a great campground. Hiking along the Brookside-McCurdy Trail
 
is good fun, and do take a hike on the Hooper Trail. Some of the water close by flows, like North Fork Lost Creek; if you have time, Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth visiting. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Front Range. Going for a hike along the Indian Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; Pike National Forest is a great place to go.
While you're here at Lost Park Campground you can take a hike along the Pine Ridge Trail; there's whitewater on South Platte River - North Fork for all you adrenaline kick people. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lost Park Campground, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lost Park Campground sink into the 0's. A lot of folks stay at this campground to be right next door to Pike National Forest.
