Lost Park Campground is pretty dehydrated generally; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is January. in the Front Range. Going for a hike along the Indian Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; Pike National Forest is a great place to go. While you're here at Lost Park Campground you can take a hike along the Pine Ridge Trail; there's whitewater on
South Platte River - North Fork for all you adrenaline kick people. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lost Park Campground, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through
the wintertime temperatures at Lost Park Campground sink into the 0's. A lot of folks stay at this campground to be right next door to Pike National Forest.
