Raft paddlers on this bit of Lake Creek should possess quite a bit of familiarity in kayak paddling. Whitewater boating can become perilous, so check the situation before heading out. A trip to White River National   Forest when you're here at Lost Man Campground is never a bad idea, and from Lost Man Campground you get a tremendous view of Independence Mountain.
