Lost Man Campground beyond doubt is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Lake Creek; going for a hike on the Star Trail is always a nice adventure. Camping in Colorado is such a fun thing to do. This place, the Sawatch Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. |
You could also take a look at Scott Lake since you're here at Lost Man Campground; it's close by; the snow is splendid at Snowmass. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the cool stuff you can do is fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so running out of amusing
| things to do won’t happen. You're sure to run into some smiling folks from Edwards here; you can go for a hike on the Timberline Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lost Man Campground. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lost Man Campground. is a splendid campground. When you're here at Lost Man Campground it's always fun to stop by White River National Forest, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Chapman Trail. This campground is so splendid. If the weather is delightful, you obtain a great panorama
of Independence Mountain from Lost Man Campground, and don't leave Lost Man Campground without first going for a hike along the Mount Massive Trail. Looking for some flowing water? Try Lost Man Creek; paddling on Fryingpan River is so much fun. Lost Man Campground is a splendid
camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Sawatch Range. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Sawatch Range. Sylvan State Park is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit, and the Sawyer Lake Trail is a good hiking trail nearby.
Lost Man Campground is typically a rather dry place; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February.
