Lost Lake Campground, Medicine Bow Mountains, Colorado

  Lost Lake Campground is an old favorite with the people of Red Feather Lakes. Through the summer at Lost Lake Campground highs are commonly in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Lost Lake Campground temperatures plunge to the 0's. There is so much amusing stuff in the vicinity of Lost Lake Campground; it is a magnificent campground.

River - North Fork.
If the weather is fine here at Lost Lake Campground, you can go for a hike along the Kreutzer Nature Trail, and you acquire a great panorama of Mount Margaret from here. Loads of people stay here when going to Roosevelt National Forest. This campground is so pretty. Curt Gowdy State Park is a splendid place to stop at, and the Mount McConnel Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by.

Lost Lake Campground is ordinarily a quite waterless place; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Medicine Bow Mountains. This is a popular place for folks from Red Feather Lakes, and on a nice day you can take a hike along the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail.
