This campground is so great. A pleasant trip to Long Park is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon, and going for a hike on the Last Chance Trail is always a glorious adventure.

Several people stay here for the purpose of being in close proximity to Rifle Falls State Park. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Little Box Campground. A tour to Little Box Canyon is always fun, and don't leave without stopping by Harvey Gap State Park.

| snow is good at Sunlight Mountain. Near Little Box Campground you locate the Mansfield Ditch Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and Coulter Dam is not far at all from Little Box Campground.
Colorado River is a great whitewater spot near Little Box Campground; there's some flowing water close by, Three Forks Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay. There's brilliant hiking along the Bailey Lake Trail, and you can run the rapids of White River - North Fork. Outdoors people generally go for this section of Colorado.
